Buy Wine from Antoine Jobard
Antoine Jobard is one of the reference wineries of the French appellation Meursault. This winery stands out for its high quality white wines with aging, which due to their low lees content and contact with soft woods, appreciate the long aging process before consumption.
The domain
The family estate of 4.8 hectares was established in Meursault in 1860 and is today run by the fifth generation, Antoine Jobard, who took over in 2007, after the retirement of his father François, who still brings his experience and works hand in hand with his son.Since his small plot of Blangy Rouge was grafted onto Chardonnay, it is a completely white domain. Its lands extend mostly in the commune of Meursault including 6 cuvees, four of them premier crus, including important properties in Charmes, Porusots and Genevrieres, as well as plots in Bourgogne, la Barre and Les Tillets.
The philosophy of this winery is to focus on the vineyards, where the wine is made in the traditional way, using new oak.
